Adventure Kayak Florida has teamed up with Brooks Rehab Adaptive Sports and Recreation and the City of Jacksonville's Disabled Services Division to bring adaptive kayaking to Hanna Park. Using specialized seats, stabilizing outriggers, foam, tape, and sometimes brute force we adapt our kayaks to the needs of the participants to enable them to paddle on Hanna Park's fresh water lake. Clinics are held monthly from October to June. Qualified staff assist all participants and on-water supervision is provided by an ACA certified adaptive kayaking instructor at no charge. Click here for more information on all of the adaptive programs offered by Brooks Rehab.
